Pizza Express is a mainstream high street Pizzeria which can be found in most towns and cities. It's somewhere that I turn to if I am feeling a bit distraught as to where to go and just don't want another salad!
Staff:
Each Pizza Express I have been to (and it's been a fair few) the staff have always been careful to ensure that the Gluten Free pizza is made completely separately to the other food. This is due to it having a Coeliac foundation certification to show it practises to a very high standard to ensure no cross contamination.
The only bad experience I have had, is them serving a butter dip when I asked for oil, whereas my friend received the oil making us a little unsure whether the ones I had were right. Apart from that, I have had no issues!

Food:
Due to the fact you can make any of the pizzas Gluten free, there are quite a lot of options. There is one pizza on the menu that already comes without cheese, this is usually the one I go for, the Pianta, with artichoke, spinach, mushrooms, pine nuts and rocket. However, there is a new addition to the menu which includes vegan cheese. I haven't tried this one yet, as I actually now after many years without cheese, prefer my pizza without cheese!
The pizza is of a good size and texture, sometimes gluten free pizza bases can be rubbery however this is pretty good although when slightly overcooked can be a little tough to cut!

Allergies/Intolerances:
The allergen information is very easy to access online, I double checked the gluten free dough mix with them by emailing. They got back to me with the full ingredient list, which put my mind at ease.
As I have mentioned earlier, the restaurant is also certified by the Coeliac foundation which is great for those with Gluten allergies/intolerances.
