Offbeet

Offbeet is a cafe located within Chesapeake Mill in Wickham near Fareham, it is dedicated entirely to gluten free and vegan eating. It is my favourite place to go when I am visiting family back home, find it almost impossible to come away without a cake!

Staff:

The staff in Offbeet have a passion for the food they sell and you can tell that they honestly love to work there. Every time I go in I am greeted with smiles and a warm welcome! My friends and I always have a great laugh when we are there, combined with delicious food and happy staff!

Food:

I don't even know where to start with the food from this place, it is all absolutely amazing. Every single time I have gone there I have enjoyed the food and polished the plate. My favourite dish to this point is the Sweet 'n' Sour Chic-ken, the only way to describe it is... Absolute sorcery, I have no idea how they make something without anything taste so good! The Polenta Chips are my friends favourite, so much so she would go all the way there just to have some.

Their brownies are insane, they taste so fudgey and just completely melt in your mouth. In fact any cake there is always a winner, it is just insane how they can make something taste so good.

As you can tell, I am a huge fan of this place and only wish that it was in more locations, as my once every couple of months visits is simply just not enough!

Allergies/Intolerances:

Well, the whole place is Gluten Free and Vegan, so that is a huge win for me. They also label freely what other allergens are in their foods such as nuts, soya and sesame on their website. If you explain to them what you have as any additional allergies, they will adapt the food if possible to suit.

I love going here as I don't even have to worry about checking out allergen menus or anything, so this will always be my favourite place to eat.
